Week 11 in the Startup Academy was dedicated to pitch training. Pitching is all about selling your company's future vision. Simply put, pitching a set of slides to reach a certain goal, be that to an angel investor, a potential co-founder, or someone else.
What did our future founders say about the pitch training session?
🚀 "The key to a successful pitch deck is to make sure you cover your basics
and include all the slides your investors want to see. In the first part of the session, all the teams were divided into three groups with one mentor in each group. Each group had 5minutes to pitch their business plan and 5 minutes to get feedback. Feedback was the most beneficial part of the drill.... After all this amazing feedback we got time to prepare our pitch again with the added benefit of the feedback we received and pitched again and the winner was selected based on the performance." 💙 ” In the last eleven weeks, we have made a huge leap in development as a team as well as a project. And that's because we have integrated the points we took away from each session for our idea, taken the criticism seriously and considered it. Have constantly realigned our course. Our own idea showed us that it also needs time to develop and Startup School gave us that time. Even more, it has encouraged and guided our development in a healthy and supportive framework. We are now already proud of ourselves, how we have developed and what we have done with our possibilities."
