Why you shouldn't skip Prototyping (Week 8 in the Startup Academy)

Updated: Nov 13, 2022

Week 8 in the Startup Academy was dedicated for Prototyping. The session was led & guided by our Alumni Yascha Roshani who is the Founder of Honest & Rare. Read some snippets of the Startup Diaries from this week.

💥 "This is one of the most exciting weeks for our startup idea. We were instructed about the importance of the prototype and some methods to do it…This is one of the milestones that all startups should not miss because it helps test the hypothesis that the founders and their teams have in advance.”

🧠 "We learned a lot of new things about prototyping itself, especially about the details that need to be taken into account and what is important when testing. We found the many different testing options very interesting for our startup. At the same time, old topics were taken up that showed us new blind spots in our idea: the relevance of our business model and the business plan - even if the latter only has to be formulated for possible financiers at a later date."

🗝 "Key learnings from the session were that the idea is we want to move quickly, experiment and find things that don't work before we invest more heavily in them."

These quotes are from participants in the Startup Academy's Spring Batch 2022.

Thanks to our sponsor Wirtschaftsjunioren Berlin for offering several student scholarships to our participants.
